Wilcom Angels Junior Academy is a community integrated area school. The school was provisionally registered on 17 August,2021 and received full registration as a full day care, kindergarten & primary school on 17 December,2022.

History

WAJA entered 2020 with a number of major milestones behind it and with some new challenges ahead. We encourage every student to aim high and to work hard to reach his or her goals. We provide a warm and caring environment where individual needs are respected, hard work is valued and excellence applauded. The students are encouraged to achieve success, learn enduring worthwhile values, excel in education and inculcate respect for others. A great deal shall be expected to enable them to become successful and responsible members of the society.

This is the unique school which offers students courses in Islamic subjects as well as complete coverage of the New National Curriculum.

The Religious character fostered by the school provides an environment for students that supports and develops their knowledge and practice of both Islam and Christianity.

Salaat is held daily, as well as Jummah Salaat on Fridays.

The Islamic Festivals are observed.

Provisions are made for specialised study of the Holy Qur’an.

The school is in preparation to run special hifz classes for those who want to make their children hafiz of Qur’an.

The school plays an active role in the local community through involvement in sports and cultural activities.
